Target Building Inspections Inc. is currently seeking out Property Condition Assessment Project Managers to join our expanding coverage. Responsibilities include performing Property Condition Assessments for commercial properties.
- Performing interviews with on-site staff
- Assessment and photography of major building systems including ADAR
- Review of as-built plans and construction drawings
- Conducting public records research regarding building and fire code violations
- Preparing cost estimates for building systems needing repair or replacement
We are seeking professionals with the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Experience performing PCAs and related projects
- Experience in architecture, engineering or construction management or equivalent field experience and licenses
- Knowledge and experience in assessing various property types (including but not limited to commercial buildings, manufacturing/industrial properties, office buildings from one story to high-rise, strip malls, shopping centers, and multi-family housing properties)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent writing and verbal skills
- Extremely organized with great multi-tasking skills
- Personable and able to communicate with people at all levels
- Willingness to travel if necessary
- Self-starter, resourceful, and the ability to work productively and independently on multiple projects at a time under strict deadlines
- Ladder access to two and three story, low-slope roofs will be required
- Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or HUD guidelines and Property Needs Assessments a plus
- Professional engineering license or architecture registration a plus
- Knowledge of PARCEL or QUIRE also a plus
- Significant design and/or construction experience a plus
- Experience in construction management or cost estimating a plus
